Oxted Community Hall

There are two primary spaces available for hire in Oxted Community Hall:

The Hall

This space measures 16m by 9m, with a high ceiling.  Approximately 130 chairs and 20 tables are available.  There are 10 tables 2m x 1m, 10 tables 1m x 1m and , plus 108 new chairs, stored on three trolleys in a cupboard in the Hall.  A further 8 tables 6ft x 2ft 6 inches are stored in the same cupboard.  6 soft top tables 1m x 1m and 30 older plastic chairs are also available on request. The hall also has an alcove into which a small stage can be placed, approximately 30cm high, also stored in a cupboard. 

The Meeting Room

This room measures 7m by 5m.  It is furnished with a series of tables usually arranged in a "doughnut" shape, which seat 20 people.  These tables can be folded and stored in a cupboard in the room or against the walls.  The room also has a whiteboard on one wall, and a flipchart is available.  Interent access is available in the Meeting Room, and a projector can be hired.  Markers and paper for the flipchart can also be made available by prior arrangement, at an extra cost.

Kitchen

Oxted Community Hall has a large kitchen available to hirers, containing a large fridge with small freezer, a large range-style cooker with ovens and a commercial dishwasher which, after 20 minutes of warming up, has 2 and 4 minute cycles (do not add washing up liquid - this is done automatically!).  Crockery and cutlery are also available.  Oxted Community Hall does not have glasses for hire.  There is only one kitchen - it is for the joint use of hirers of each of the rooms.

Oxted Community Hall has its own private car park.  6 spaces are reserved for East Surrey Crossroads, leaving more than 20 spaces for users of Oxted Community Hall, of which a number are designated as for Disabled drivers.
