Whether members or not, Oxted Community Hall always welcomes support from the community. There are a number of tasks to be done, from cleaning to painting, carpentry to telephony or looking after the surrounding grounds. Offers of help will always be gratefully received.

Financing

The Oxted Community Hall has been financed by generous donations from the community to the Oxted Community Hall Appeal, managed by St. Mary's Oxted Heritage Trust, by a large contribution from East Surrey Crossroads Attendant Care Scheme and by vigorous fund-raising with a variety of grant-making bodies. We wish to list all  benefactors on a separate page on this website, but will not do so without their express permission.  If you have given money to the Appeal, please contact us to confirm that we may add your name to this list  We do not propose to disclose the amounts of your donations, but simply to publish an alphabetical list.

Although the building is complete and in full use, it has not yet been entirely paid for and we continue to add to the facilities available.  The loan taken out by St. Mary's PCC to make the Hall possible has now been reduced to £25,000, but as noted elsewhere to repay this loan and  reduce the interest costs being incurred continued fund-raising is required. We would therefore be very grateful for any contributions, however large or small, that you might be able to make.  Payments should be to Oxted Community Hall Appeal, FREEPOST NAT9344, Oxted RH8 0BR, or to account number 75507293 at sort code 60-16-09 (Oxted Natwest).

If you are a tax-payer and wish to allow the Appeal to recover tax on the amount you donate, please complete a Gift Aid declaration and return it to the Hall with details of your donation - this declaration is found on our Downloads page.
